As the snip below shows, v8 just idling, resized to a smaller window suddenly "zoomed in" like this...
any ideas why?? is it a regression bug (i hope it is)

close v8 and re-open.. back to normal size..

I can't get it to happen here (I switched to the same skin too).

its not skin specific and its an intermittent fault, as in, ive only ever seen it very rarely.

I would be inclined to think it's an issue with your graphics card.

is it possible some how you have click a hotkey that enable a zoom utility i know windows has a built in one.

the windows zoom utility is activated by holding the windows key and then pressing '+'. to turn it off hold the windows key and press 'esc'.
if it was this, then all software on his system would be magnified, so might not be the windows magnifier, but worth a try anyway.
