Don't care for it personally, hearing it in many tracks released in the last year or so.

massive is a synth not really a FX its more of an instrument

Will these act in post fader, or is VDJ postfader like a pseudo postfader, the only echo i can get to work in postfader in the stock echo. I prefer echo doppler but it doesnt work in postfader.

Bionic works post, vdj is real postfader but some effects don't work on the buffer (the actual sound) I think they make copy of the file, go to the current time and work from that. Therefore those will mever be postfader.

I just tested and its not post fader, once i turn the effect off...the trails stop...so theres no punching the echo...

trailing after fx off is something completely different.
