I was informed by support to post here.
On my laptop there is a folder in my drive C: /documents/virtual dj/backup. Inside that is a file called Broken Database.XML
Also on my external drive there is a folder called backup. Inside of it there are 8 files that are labelled Broken Database.XML, as well as Database.XML
Could these folders be causing the problems, and should any of them be deleted?
Using PC with VDJ 8 and Windows 10.
I tested Windows 10 with VDJ8 and it worked without any issues. Used it at 3 events with no problems, however this weekend it just stopped.
That's how I found these folders. So going back to Windows 8.1.

If there was a problem reading the database, a backup copy of the broken database is made.
After that the database is fixed and saved again.
If you still have all the tags in the newly fixed database, then these backups can be deleted.
