Calling pad_edit from a controller appears to cause a crash [tried kontrol s4 mk1 and novation launchpad mk2] b 3343 win 10

No, calling from a pad actually works fine, these were dedicated buttons on hw

Ok. Can you also provide the exact script you used ?

(I can't believe that you just used such a simple/single action on a button :P - I would expect at least 10 lines of code! ) J/K :)

Literally pad_edit, editor comes up, everything freezes up, I tested direct keyboard [works] pad and mouse [works] but from hardware you get a crash.
