What's the star under my profile? Can someone send a list that one star=? Two stars=? ...

1 star = home user, 2 star = controller license, 3 stars = pro user.

Anything more than that is awarded by contribution to the forum i think or you could try backhanded payments to grease the wheels :)

Further stars (past 3) are given for generally being useful to the community. Be it content creation (skins pads plugins), consistent quality help to other users (lets the devs keep dev'ing), even just having a quality that benefits the community (being really into karaoke/video, being a hw junkie)

Cool, well I don't see the star system as being that important to me. I try and help when I can, but don't think I will be getting a 4th star anytime soon. :)

Pro Infinity users (and only those) can gain stars based on their contribution in the Forums (offering assistance to other users, offering Plugins etc) and knowledge on VirtualDJ itself. It's not an automated rewarding system, so it's not related to how many posts you have made.

well thats strange because when i had VIP status i was also a subscriber. when i cancelled my subscription i was no longer vip.

so erm... yes.

unless things have changed since then, ive not been a regularly active member for a couple of years now.

It's not VIP. It gives you access to one reserved forum for content unlimited users and that's it.

was my vip due to another reason then keith? i just assumed it was because of my subscription, clearly my assumption was incorrect.

apologies for the mistake.

Maybe they elevated you to VIP to take part in beta testing?

That's the only reason I could think of.
