Hi, Sorry if I have gone to the wrong forum, I am using the new 2018 software and have noticed the song now overlays on the video screen, is there was of turning this off?

Exposure, better to make people aware the feature exists and let them turn it off if they choose, than folk never finding out it's an option.

Well at least there should be a pop-up telling people how to turn it off .... especially since the manuals haven't been updated yet.
Not everyone is savvy enough to figure out where the video skin option actually is.

There is a pop up for anyone who downloaded since 10th June and activated video for the first time.
Anyone who had the very first EA release won’t see this pop up, unless they install from the website installer.

Edit what? There's more than one videoskin.
There are more available for download, including one designed for briefly displaying track titles.

Not the only option, because whatever XML code is used in the Title videoskin to make it appear for X seconds, could be added to whatever other videoskin the user chooses, to make that do the same.
