sometimes I get asked for songs that are unsuitable or just that they don't work for me.
I would like to use the rating system to help down vote tracks and eventually hide them when raining reaches 5.
however I can't find the right syntax in filter folder wizard for this..
I'm using..
isscanned=1 and type<>Karaoke and Rating<>5
to show all music/videos and rating other than 5
could anyone help with the rating part please, so it hides any with a 5 please?

Yes, thanks. Sometimes the obvious is right there.. In this case right at the top of the list.
I can remove the track from the top hits on search but it still shows in the lower part of the search.
Perhaps the only way to completely remove tracks from search is to delete them from the music harddrive or move to backup..

To remove them from search, create a filter folder with only the ones you don't want, select all the tracks, right click and select 'remove from search db'
