when onScreenKeyboard enabled, a keyboard raise when entering search zone
when in the main window on the initial display the one where VDJ started this is a funky not configurable ascii qwerty keyboard
with a floating browser on another display this is the window floating keyboard
if main VDJ window and floating browser are swapped from displays then the main window takes the window keyboard and the floating browser the funky one
this looks like VDJ affect its own vrtual keyboard to the initial display
it would not be a problem if it was using the system config and language bar layouts
better use the window one in most cases
i.e.: a lot of search are not in english ascii - even i try to get Latin translations :

Unfortunately windows does not allow to programmatically move the on-screen keyboard to a different monitor, so the internal one is used instead in these cases.
It sounds like your main and secondary screen are somehow swapped though.

yes, always some interferences between old Intel as primary and nVidia grid settings related
Unfortunately windows does not allow to programmatically move the on-screen keyboard to a different monitor, so the internal one is used instead in these cases.Its indeed difficult, a workaround existed - moving window before showing some under-elevated windows tools - some years >10 ago maybe it still works. will try to find this. stopped to work with vista :\
having an onscreen keyboard with differents layouts is really usefull to look for tracks with non latin names
but the ascii one would be usefull even for other stuffs:
This feature - even in ASCII - is somehow limited and only works while DJing:
- search is OK and works everywhere correctly
- singer name & venue name & rename & export are ok but badly open in the display where "vdj mainpage" stay not the active one
these ones are fixable by defining the dialog with DS_CENTERMOUSE style
With all other input areas - mainly not to be used while DJing:
- settings page raises "Windows onscreeen keyboard" as long as it stays on the Windows main display but never raises VDJ keyboard where needed on secondary
- connect, copy, move, and any editors only raise "Windows onscreeen keyboard" as long as they open in the same display "vdj mainpage" stay only if it is the "Windows main display", no VDJ keyboard
these ones are also fixable
of course there is a workaround : click on search to force keyboard to appear and move manualy the dialogs boxes ^^
