is the new 2021 waveform designed to end the non implemented views on the default skin?? for example upside down,mirrored,inverted and splitted views in recently created skins only show the new "beats" model regardless of what option is the config page.

It's up to the skin creators to keep compatibility with the new waves and offer any options they want.
Until they update their skin to handle properly the new waves, the new waves will substitute the old ones
