I've posted this before, but finally got round to uploading a video. I can have two tracks, absolutely locked on DVS, and yet VDJ reports BPMs several whole beats per minute out, and never seems to correct.

This inaccuracy can go on for a minutes long mix, the BPMs are stable (and wrong), VDJ knows I'm in sync in the various phases indicators and spinning platters (they're set to rotate once per 4 beats).
Also, does anyone have any broader tips using DVS? Has anyone found a sync approach that works? smart_play and beatlock are very weird, especially when there isn't a track on the other deck. Sync is inaccurate, possibly because of the BPM inaccuracy in the video.
