Sujet Library stops working completly

Hello I have an issue that has now occured multiple times a couple hours into a set that I am unsure the cause of or how to resolve without having to relaunch VDJ.

When playing at some point my entire library will dissapear and become unable to be interacted with

i attached a photo.
the currently loaded tracks will still work and nothing is frozen except the library which has all the songs removed and can not be expanded anymore (once closed)

i mostly stream from beatport but it does not appear to be that as the local library acts the same.

Restarting the program resolves the problem.

Thanks

Any thoughts on this?

Can you post the screenshot you mentioned above ?

So when this happens, the Beatport folder cannot be expanded ? Cant see you Playlists or even the default Beatport ones (Charts) ?
When you right-click on the Beatport folder, you see "sing In" or "sign out" in the menu ?

But the weird thing is that you dont see any local files either, which looks like your Hard Drive has some issue, but not sure. Your Local files are on C Drive or elsewhere ?
Searching for some Local file works and you get results ?

appologies for missing picture.
i dont really have any local files and its almost entirely streamed, but i did check and basically i couldnt interact with the library at all at this point.

whole program functions as intended still just the library completly stops working, closing vdj and relaunching fixes the problem

the laptop is essentially empty so i dont think its local storage, Perhaps something to do with playing a ton of streamed tracks or stem seperation as they both happened after 2-3 hours.

the last post in this thread suggest there are bad files from beatport perhaps that has to do with it

https://virtualdj.com/forums/237839/VirtualDJ_Technical_Support/Where_can_i_find_error-_or_crash-logs_.html

ill attempt to recreate the issue on my desktop sometime if possible i just stream off my laptop now so might be a while.

although i did not have a traditional crash

looking to see if i can find error logs anywhere in vdj files

You can check the tooltip on 'Browsing' to see which folder it is stuck on

so im thinking it might have to do with stems and loading large playlist from beatport.
thoughts?

I don't know, which folder did the tooltip show it got stuck on?

Iexperienced the same thing myself last night. Desktop computer 64 GB RAM used only for vdj 3TB library
local files only no streaming. library vanished after 80 minutes play auto mix also cleared could not address library without restartimg virtual DJ Denon Prime 4 controller. latest VDJ
caused quite an issue with my internet radio show

[EDIT] This may be of help or not, was able to recreate this this morning and noted that CPU iseage was peaking at 80+ % for a minuit at a time with all fans at full tat which given the specs of the above PC is ridiculous, before droppng back to normal for a few secs , before starting again CPU normally rarely shows a 0% track the source of the high cpu value down to stems creation turning off all stems usage so see you soon everything returns to normal note that none of this occurred before the latest release since turning off stems problem has not recurred PS during library crash memory usage spike from 2 GB to 5.5 gigawatts and climbing, perhaps a memory leak somewhere?

So did you also see 'Browsing' as status in the browser, and if so what did the tooltip say?

sorry posted that last commend during a set. it said something like "stem 0% trackname" from a track in my beatport playlist. and the hover tool tip i think was similar or just the song.

but the screenshot i showed before didnt show that exactly so im guessing its not haping

If there are instructions anywhere i was unable to find a log file for my virtual dj installation. Regardless the issue even a way to restart the browser threads would be a great hotfix if its something related to resource allocation or (lack of therefore).

the laptop is bit dated so it being related to cpu usage (integrated graphics hence the stems taxing my cpu heavily) would make sense, i assume if i dont use stems it will not happen

ill try to recreate it on demand
