Please help me with a script for the Pioneer XDJ RX3 controller. I'm working in software mode. I want the FX Active button (blue) to activate the effect in the software on either the left or right channel, depending on the position of the FX Select Ch knob. By default that knob doesn't work at all for me. I tried the command `fx_channel 1 ? deck 1 effect active : deck 2 effect active`, but it doesn't work too, it just always turns on the effect on the right channel.

Please restore the default mapping.
Then put the FX_SELECT knob on CFA position for deck 1 and on CFB position for deck 2
VirtualDJ uses the same positions as Rekordbox DJ
Position 1 is actually deck 3 and position 2 is deck 4.
That's how FX_ASSIGN works in software mode.
