I believe one of the reason Atomix stopped selling them is because they are available from EKS (the manufacturer) for cheaper but are still compatible.

They aren't cheaper from EKS! 399 EU is way more than they used to be here. Bummer, I was thinking about getting one, but $500+ USD is way too much. That's more than a TTX and timecode! WTF?
