the hercules scratch is good because its reasoable scrating,,,,, on a little controler
i dont think there are many people that can scratch as well as you did on the HDJC but there are plenty of people who can scratch better with vinyl than just then, thats why its remarkable not cause its blistering scratching.
its prety good for week 1, simple as
but its not quite as amazing as some ppl have talked about, people on here can be too positive about things some times its true
OK is realy poor
good is realy middle of the road
excelent is realy quite good
amazing is realy very good

I am not a fan of scratch, but said you had skills after watching you scratch with the Hercules. Since I know all the particulars of this video, it is not necessary for me to critique it. Like anyone with a new tool, there is a learning curve. I think the video shows us much more. First, that you have balls to video yourself, when you are on a learning curve. Vanity, will keep most of us from doing the same. We want the world to think we woke up with these skills. It also shows us your setup, somebody will benefit from that. It also shows us how the hardware, and software work together. I am sure your skills will transfer over to TCV, and wait for your next video. I think most will agree, that I am not the nicest guy on this forum, and don't try to be. But I am only an asshole, when I need to be. It seems like you were just dodging bullets, and IED's. Now, you are spending all your money on DJ equipment. Sniff, sniff, I think I'm gonna cry.

Is this possible on a DJ Console MP3 as well?

to scratch yes but not with timecoded vinyl

Cool, since I am having trouble viewing the vid on the setup I have some questions. I have seen your demo of the MK2 Scratching is one "vinyl" playing just a scratch sound? Where can I get that sound you use in the demo?
Also, do you need a separate mixer to do the quick crossfader changes or will the one on a DJ Control MP3 work fine? If not, what is a good mixer to buy?
If anyone has trouble viewing the video, install this, without changing the header and it worked for me finally! Changing the header didn't work for me.

How where you able to load up a sample on the digital "vinyl" to scratch?

Gauge, you're a mix master in my opinion. You put alot of hours into perfecting your technique and it has paid off immeasurably. Keep it up man, you'll go real far.
