LOOL... Thats quite funny. You have a faulty BCD2000 and yet you kept up bashing VDJ for it not working, while saying it worked perfect in other apps! Must be some phantom luck you had in your other apps, that made a faulty device work.. ;)
Anyways, glad Behringer will supply you a new one .. :)

it's not the same to hear both decks and to hear the "result" the outout. What i mean is that i need to hear in headphones the output (when i move the crossfade to change the result and the equalizers changes). I f you had a BCD you could understand me. There is not such thing in VDJ.

Exactly what I mend -> when pre-listening you can’t hear the tone changes you made in your headphone only pitch settings and so crossfade with the master record playing until it’s ok to mix and make it the master.
It is to me one of the major advantages of the BCD but I guess I can’t do this through assigning some midi shortcuts right ?

To be honest I doubt this will solve the issue, especially since I have used the BCD for hours on end, be it on another system. But I'll just wait and see what happens when the new unit arrives..

I solved my problem with using the BCD200 ASIO drivers. In all settings if I try and manually set a laterncy setting it doesnt work but I can now setup the best quality or any other setting as long as the latency is set to Auto it works. Hopefully this will work for others out there who are having problems.
Had a good mixing session without any problems....sure beats using the WDM drivers and not being able to use the headphones on the BCD2000

That might be very true, and a good point
Latency set to "AUTO" means that VDJ's own latency settings will be "bypassed" and the card settings used instead.
"AUTO" works best for such cards as maya44, u46dj and more too.
Good tip...

Is there already an estimated time of release set for the 4.1 upgrade towards the BCD users so we can finally start using VDJ (with all it’s functions)?

C'mon, are we gonna start this again? It will be released when it is ready. Why is that so hard, for so many to understand? Do you think the company has a fix ready, and are sitting on it? Tell me how that makes even a little sense? Insanity, is repeating the same thing over and over, and expecting different results. So, here is an "estimated time of release". It will be soon, but not soon enough. BTW, I am using VDJ, with all it's functions, live, for over a year now. You also have a choice. You can wait for a fix for this high quality controller, which VDJ has said over & over again that it was working on. Or, you can find an alternative.

OK, another little step forward in the right direction.
FOR ME the ASIO -> AUTO workaround works now. Thanks to the Community. Including Headphones as with the Asio-drivers Headphones are no problem anymore. I will try the Mic this afternoon and report later. If we can now get a fix for the LED-Problem (wich is NOT caused by electricity problems) im fine with 4.0 by now.

Dear, .. And His Music,
That’s the way service is given you are absolutely right “you can find an alternative” ??
I’m not complaining to the fact it’s not functioning as described for release V4 or that V4.1 is not released yet, but was only asking if there was an estimated time set for the release of V4.1 !!!
I’m sure we are aloud to have some feedback other then "working on it" to make sure we have the time or the need to look for alternatives?!
PS: I’m using VDJ longer then 1 year live now with the HDJC & U46DJ-TCV (works ok) but another brand released a controller who was going to be supported by the software I purchased so I’ve got the controller & now I’m waiting.
So I don’t see why after all the promises that were made I can’t ask (in a constructive way) when the estimated release time will be to our solution without loosing my nose.
@ Tanzi; can you hear the tone-control (mid-low-high) changes when you make them in your headphone when pre-listening?
Posté Mon 04 Sep 06 @ 4:14 pm
Pitch yes / Tone control NO
And now i got the crakcling sounds someother spoke about. Im searching the Forum for the Solution as i think there was one?!

Here you go;
*** TO EVERYONE WHO HEARS NOISES/POPS/CRACKELS/UNDERBUFFERING ***
I've noticed this, too, and I've opened a topic in the bugs forum. The solution is:
Open the "Performances" page in the congiguration window
Disable the "Safe Mode" (important!)
Enable the "Overclock" checkbox, expecially if you've got a laptop
Adjust for the optimal latency, or use "Auto" if you get in panic
Posté Mon 04 Sep 06 @ 4:37 pm
Can anyone else please test this??
There are quite a few reporting good results with the settings above, and most importantly, AUTO setting for latency

I have a problem with the lights and the headphones.
The lights don't work properly.
You know when you're using the keyboards to stutter, like pressing it over and over, the music stutters right?
But when I press the play button on the BCD, it just plays and then it pauses.
I would like it to just stutter.
How do I do that?
and also, the lights don't work properly with the other buttons.
any suggestions

got the stutter problem fixed.
Now for the Headphones.
I used the 1.1 version of ASIO at the behringer site.
and then I use ASIO. 1&2 for master out ( works fine )
3&4 for the headphones ( i dnt hear anything even when Phones are maxed )
Now for the Lights:
I have to press it twice in order to stutter coz the lights has to go off?
How do I disable the lights?
Instead, I just want it to be pressed once in order to stutter.

You can assign midi shortcut to your BCD to Play button to stutter. I don't have a console to try that but it should be that way.
Posté Mon 04 Sep 06 @ 7:02 pm
yup.. had that solved already.

Try using the DEFAULT FULL AUDIO skin for VDJ 4
At the top there is a slider for headphone mix
Does that work for the BCD2000 console too?
Posté Mon 04 Sep 06 @ 7:14 pm
okay, it works there.
But can I use that on the PFL Mix on the BCD?
