Hi,
I did a fresh reinstall of my laptop last week, and I find that now when I play mpg videos the sound is really low compared to mp3s. I didn't have this problem before, i'm sure it's only a minor thing (like a codec problem or something) but would anybody know why?
I'm using V3.4, with a u46dj soundcard on windows XP.
Thanks for your help

boost the gain when using the video files
it might be somthing to do with the file encoding

Have you set the gain setting in the config menu to "Always 0dB"?
