Whenever I load a video in VirtualDJ, the application freezes for about 30 seconds or so, but any video playing continues. Once the videos appeared, VirtualDJ runs fine. I get this problem occasionally with music too, only the music will loop until VirtualDJ starts responding.
Can anyone give me any pointers to why this is?

The problems persist in the trial. Could this be a codec thing? :O

4.0 Trial is no longer even available. not to mention it's been months since it should have expired/
