Can we have a show of hands of those who run Hoster karaoke software and VDJ together?
1) Can you have both running the same time w/o any issues at all?
2) For example, can you minimize Hoster, bring up VDJ and play a few videos, then return to Hoster without any problems at all.
3) What kind of problems do you get when running both simultaneosly?
4) If it can't actually be done, I'm gonna stop trying.

maybe better to try build in vdj
it might use alot of cpu to use both
swaping between video and kj could be a bit tricky on your second monitor/projector
but should be possible
is there a particular reason you need it?

Yup, Sky, I do karaoke shows almost exclusively with Hoster as it contains well documented list
of who is next singer and what they will be singing. But once in a while there is a 1/2 hour of music and I like to switch right to VDJ for messing with the video effects , etc.

I use MTU's Hoster along with VDJ every day. I have never had an issue. Hoster uses very little PC resources

I use Sax & Dotty hoster along with Virtual DJ and never have problems.

Mdmaxx, what your machine specs that handle this so well,
and when I shrink VDJ after using videos, Hoster seems to not get to the second screen, sort of like as if VDJ kept it to itself and wouldn't give it up.
maybe I need to inactivate video in VDJ before I go back?
have you noticed this kind of occurence at all?

Bryan you may be able to make a keyboard shortcut to enable/disable your video out from VDJ to use the other software.
