from what i saw esi discontinued the u46dj.
is this right ?

if so , what do you people recommend as an alternative for this ? and if possible at about that price range or a little bit more

Thats why I'm waiting for the Numark Version too many sound and video card problems in my opinion.
The Numark version is supposed to have its own sound card with a dedicated VIDEO OUT. Man I'm gonna wait. Been waiting since september though. SKYFX what model of the M Audio you talking about.
 
 
oh they discontenued it? oh god, i probably got a used one then, cuz it doesnt work for crap!!!!!!! with tcv!!!!!!!! but it was put in a bag, someone probably just put it in a bag, anyways enough yellin at eci from me
 
and just for the record people please dont buy from them if u can help it

Those M Audio cards you suggest will work with Virtual DJ ? I thought you needed two stereo ins and two stereo outs.

The numark sound card will not have a decidcated video output.

but wouldn't it be wise to have an audio interface with 4 in (rca) + at least 4 out (rca) like the u46dj ?(for use with tccd)

because thats what i am looking for (for a friend ) ( i have a u46 dj !)

so what am i looking for ?? (models with these specifications usb or firewire)

has lowjack input and mini jack inputs

may be better to get virtual vinyl when that comes out tho

cheaper option is the mk2 dj console

Anewsome Ok I was just going by what it sounded like the website was saying. Still think it will be a lot easier to hook up though whenever it comes out. As long as they are taking they better get it right
 
you can preorder virtual vinyl now at some stores =)

i just read the numark website. you're right, they make it sound like virtual vinyl box has a video output. it doesn't.
 
I can confirm that as I have the Numark sound card there is no video out on the card at all. I'll tell you guys one thing that is nice about the card is it has 3 pairs of audio outs 2 pairs of pass thru's and 2 input pairs. Take a look

i am looking for a soundcard that will do what the u46dj did : 2 pairs of input -rca-(for tccd) + at least 2 pairs of output -rca- (to the mixer).

usb or firewire + not to expensive.

any suggestions would be nice (model+link)

Romeodan check ebay for u46dj. But I'm going to just hold out so I can get the whole package.

I would recommend wait for the Numark or buy an SL-1.
