to record video in virtual dj you need an external recorder program such as fraps video

download it and run it and then select the video window as a recordzone and press record

Hey, you can use some screen recorder to help you record video file. It can capture whatever streaming video and audio file on computer screen with high quality. It always helped me rip videos from internet and save the video to standard video format file, so that I can export them to my portable device and enjoy them at will.
