hi i was advised last week if i wanted to prelisten to a trak i have cue up i would need a external sound card .i have bought one of these but am still no nearer to solving my problem , maybe i did not explain myself ...using vdj3.1 with a tune playing in the left deck , i want to prelisten and set a cue point for the trak in the right deck is this poss if so i would be very grateful if somebody could advise me in very simple terms as im thick ..thanks allott dj ian.

for starters use the latest demo 4.2 for starters 3.1 has not been available for a long time.

3.1 lacks many features that have later been included


aslo the cracked version aslo has a nasty bug caused by the crack which can cause bad static and possible speaker damage at high volumes , no joke :(

 
ok i,ve downloaded the trial version of 4.2 were do i go from here ..thanks ian.
 
ok choose the following

inputs : none

outputs:headphone

card : 4.1

now on the channel assignment

mark which output you would like for main and which for preview

now to preview on a particular deck press the PFL button

your best bet is the internal mixer interface on 4.2 pro

remember you can only use this for 20 days with out purchase.
 
thanks again, i would like to purchase this software but it is relly expensive and being a single parent i have to get a balance ..and feeding my kids has to come first thanks skyfxl
 
why not get home edtion
