any idea how much would this baby cost in the market once its out? ballpark figure in usd?

Check www.zzounds.com

I think it's $600.

The jog wheels look kind of dinky, as in flat plastic with no finger grip as a CD-player or DAC-3 does.

Maybe Vestax will develop a more usable cover for them or a third party replacement product will evolve.

Otherwise it looks great!

Also, another new controller that is laid out nicely is the M-Audio Xponent. Too bad it is bundled with their Torq (poop) software.

You are right the M-Audio Xponent looks great but will it work great with vdj & does it have a mic input?

and vestax has no soundcard inside

nothing will change turn tables newer ewer ;)

Well i am going for the idj2 . i think this is a nice toy. no more f...ing around with latency, ram, etc. did allready a pre order. cant wait for the magic box.
