if you live near me, .. look for the smoke signals. that'll let you know when the mac version is released.

Any ETA whatsoever? week, month, 1/2 year? At least kinda what to expect.

Also what about licensing - will current PC license cover mac too?


Looking forward to it - I got MacBook Pro and doing bootcamp thing.

We're holding our breaths for a lte March/early April release. But nothing is set in stone at this time.

i hope it's released on April 1st, Apple's anniversary. =)

there is absolutely no way to tell when development will be complete. no way. as the list of things to do get shorter, they know that they are close. very close to a release. the list is pretty short right now, but that's not to say that 5 things on the list = 5 units of some set time. one thing may take a few hours to complete, another might take a few days. there really is no way to know with absolute certainty.

you can listen to an educated guess if you like. my guess for instance. my guess is within the next couple weeks.but it could be as soon as next week. it could drop tomorrow for all we know.

It's done when it's done.

As frustrating as that may sound, the only thing more frustrating would be to have a crappy product that takes a dive on me in front of hundreds or thousands of people.

no, not recent converter and in my mind jury is still out on usability of OSX, but I do like thr stability. Not to mention the hardware itself.

And STABILITY is what matters when putting your reputation on the line in front of massive amounts of people, which is why so many live performance professionals have switched and are switching at an incredible pace to Macs.

Yeah hopefully that will be a huge advantage of operating on a mac. These bad boys can really take a lot programs on at once without really slowing down the overall performance, I can't believe that I'll be mixing video!

The thing that I want to know and I'm sure others do to, Will the skin's support the Macbook, Macbook Pro, and Powerbook widescreens? I actually have bootcamp installed and It's sucks operating Vdj and having a system message pop up everytime I load saying the resolution isn't supported by this skin. And will their be different file extensions for things like effects??

Yup. I love showing off multi-tasking on Macs and watch windows users eat their hearts out when I've got a bunch of applications open simultaneously and switch between them without any "This application has stopped responding messages" with that oh-so-helpful "Send error report to microsoft" option. LOL! =P

We used to have employees click all the icons in the dock to launch the applications and watch windows users gasp at something so trivial. =D

Pretty much.

I have reason to believe that when I say "very soon" at this point in time, that it's very acurrate.

I don't believe I've ever said "very" soon before, just "soon" and things to that nature.

I'm saying it now though. =)
