Sujet midi control

hello, I was wandering if anyone could help, Im currently using vdj 4.2 with a BCD2000 (an official copy), Id like to know would it be possible to use an Akai MPD16 midi controller together with the BCD2000 to trigger samples and also control effect parameters?
