Cette partie de ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes

We have been open 3 weeks and every chance I get I try to get some more exposure to VDJ.

There is always random photographers coming and taken pics of everyone on the nights we are open.

This was taken this past Saturday night!!

Look what I happen to be showing off!!!

Not my tables. This the actual DJ booth from an angle.
That is my Ecler Mixer though!!

good pic, how do u like that mixer?

Posté Mon 02 Apr 07 @ 8:50 pm
Love the mixer!! Been using it for a while doing video mixing with it!
Wish they made more like it from the other companies (i.e. Rane, Pioneer, Denon)

Need more midi compatible affordable mixers!

Next purchase when I can afford it is an Allen & Heath mixer!

I showed some local DJ's (all serato users) the use of VDJ with the Ecler doing video mixing and they all pretty much took a dump in their pants!

Thats cool man , what nights do you play at the stratosphere , I'm from vegas and have been looking for some Dj's that use VDJ.

I am there every weekend.
There are 4 DJ's that work there and not all the rooms are open on some of the weeknights so we rotate those weeknights. We are open Wednesday through Saturday. Sundays every now and then.

Looks very nice!

Just wondering, does the NU04 give midi messages from the eq pots, or is it just the faders?

Posté Tue 03 Apr 07 @ 12:53 pm
Faders, Eq knobs, and some buttons.
There is a dedicated midi section that allows you to configure many options.

Go to their web site and check out all the features.

Great product!!

low fat al

dreadlox here... i have been having some problems with my sound...... using u46dj sound card and x-session midi controller

some how i think that my mixer is the problem.... your mixer is a midi controller?
if so what is the price range etc....

is there something else that you would recommend?

Posté Tue 03 Apr 07 @ 2:52 pm
does anyone have a recommended mixer?

i think my x-session sucks

Good job low-fat-al.

THIS is exactly what VDJ/VV needs.

People who take pride in the product and spread the word among competing product users and highly influential people as well.

Hi Low Fat Al

Could you give us some idea of what you've mapped to what between the NU04 and VDJ? I presume you haven't bothered with the start and cue buttons because you're using TCVs. Do you bother with matching, beatlock etc or do you just use the TCV?

A

Mainly I mapped out things like marking cue points, triggering loops, changing transitions, effects, clone deck, go to cue points.. things like that mainly. No beatmatching, beatlock stuff... I use the TCV to actually mix the two tracks.

Hey fellow DJ :)

What kind of music do they play at the stratosphere ? Been a DJ in california for a while but I never seem to find a good club in Vegas when I'm there.

The club has 4 rooms. 3 of them are themed by decade and different names.
70's room - Polly Esther's
80's room - Culture Club
90's room - Nerve-Ana
2000+ room - Suite 2000

Suite 2000 is an ultra lounge.

all rooms have vip areas with bottle service as well.

26,000 square feet.

All DJ's rotate the rooms. I so far have been in the 70's, 80's and next will be in the 90's.

I have VDJ with TCV set up in every room but not all DJ's are using it like me :-)

Hopefully in the next few weeks we have a better presence in all rooms with the video mixing with all DJ's there. We have to work out some minor technical issues with projectors and screens first.

It is a fun party environment that is basically a time travel back through the decades.
Pick a decade and PARTY!!
