recently my VDJ outputing a bad quality song. i mean by bad quality is the sound loses its beats a bit and the beats are a bit sharp. this happens only on some mp3s. I have deided to reinstal the software but can some one tell me if i uninstal the software and instal it again would i be able to keep the data base and the information i stored about the song like que level, comments ,etc.

Save the database file named VirtualDJ Database (Your name).xml and mp3database.txt
Otherwise, the issues you describe can be solved, but first we need some specs info of your computer; memory, processor, ram and sound card etc to help you better.

Thx for the help. can you tel me the directory root for the databasefiles you mentioned, is this in the virtual dj folder?
Also my system informations are
Processor: x86 family 6 model 13 stepping 8 GenuinIntel ~1398 Mhz
Physical Memory: 256MB available 46MB
Virtual Memory : 2 GB
Sound: Sound MX Digital Audio
I undrestand this is not a good system to work with VDJ software but to start it was working fine with no problem. all the problem i have is with the output sound and only on some mp3s

yes the program file
try setting autolatency and fastest on performances
and untick save and overclock

yes thx skyfxl. i have done the setting, I set SoundCard\Latensy to Auto and the preset slider to fastest. hope this resolve the problem.

hi guys. it's me again. just asking what external sound card is best suit VDJ. according to the working experience you have with VDJ. can you mention the brand of this device?
