Hi there,

Following on from that other thread on broadcasting I am having some problems.

On the screengrab on the other thread of the broadcast cofig tab it shows a file in the encoder field but I don't know what to use for my broadcast as there doesn't seem to be an obvious file to pick.

My settings are as follows (tried to paste a screengrab here but it won't let me paste it):

- master and mic in

-Hercules mk2

-Auto start

-Shoutcast mp3

-128kbs

-encoder field empty (this is where I am having the problem)

-broadcast to a radio server and all the relevant details

You help would be much appreciated.

I had originally tried to use the winamp soutcast plugin and although I managed to broadcast I didn't pick up the sound from my Hercules mk2. I had to just change from soundcard to winamp input setting and play tracks from a winamp playlist. Very annoying.

If anyone has any idea if I can get the winamp plugin to accept input from my herc that would also be great.

Thanks.

Bob

Yeh I looked at that.

If you look on the screengrab on the first page of that ultimate guide you'll see the file in the encoder field:

D:\PROGRA~1\VIRTUA ......etc

This is the bit I have missing from the broadcast config screen.

Do I need a plugin for the encoder?

Thanks

Brilliant!

Thanks for the quick response.
