hi, i want to know your best opinions on rippin dvd videos. i know there is a dvd rip option but it seems if there is title menus on the dvd it won't work properly.

There's numerous threads about ripping dvd's. Do a search.
However it comes down to
Freeware: DVD decrypter seems to be the favorite.
Payware: I use this one from a compeating dj software(the software sucks) but they produced a good VJ ripper.

choose split on chapters
each video usualy is its own chapter

the options are- auto, by cell id, by vob id, by file and none
