I downloaded thsi effect but when I go to run it I get an error message in DJ that reads:
"Direct3D is not initialized"
Has anyone else had this problem???
How do I initialize it then?

Do you have the latest DirectX installed?

when you go into video effects and choose text2d press activate button before you try to do anything else or you will keep getting that message...hope it helps

how about something simple like...press activate first to use text2d
and thanks djcel it is one fantastic piece of kit everyone is cob smacked when you run the scrolling text or multiples of it with different coloured scroll bar text then combine it with cube wow it is one jaw dropper...
but you already know that you did the damm things...lol

dont know if it helps but i can use text scrolling in 1, 2 or multiples across the screen with vids or sonique and combine them with cube or rotation or both together & background logo amongst others to get some awesome effects and as yet had no freezes or shutdowns have i been lucky or could there be a problem on your software or install?
you will have to work that one out yourself or get higher help coz i dont do that side of vdj, anyway hope it may help in narrowing down the problem you have...
