Sujet: Direct X Error

I installed the new virtualdj and the hercules drivers, and when i try to open virtual dj i get the direct x error and its doesnt let me in, soi cant change the settings. PLEASE HELP!!

Good Morning

If you are using Vista 32 bit edition , it is important you install as an administrator
by default vista makes all people limited users with limited powers

1. Uninstall Virtual DJ 3.4.1

2. Uninstall Drivers

3. Reboot

4. Go to control pannel > users > user groups add your acount to the administrator group

5. Reboot

6. Reinstall the drivers

7. Reboot

8 . Install Virtual Dj

i am the administrator. what else can i do?
 
I get the same problem ( but I have Windows XP) direct X problems over and over and over and over again.
I am really frustrated because in two freaking years I have never been able to use this software + MK2 console on a reliable way.

If I follow these steps , in step # 6 reinstall the drivers you mean the MK2 drivers only or the Direct X drivers as well (from Microsoft).????
 
vic v those settings are for home users on vista only

as for your problem direct x error means that the sound config is wrong

what sound config do you have?
