Sujet: Cant seperate music in headphones and speakers

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

How do I put the main mix through the speakers and listen separately through the headphones. It seems like a lot of people have this question too. The process to make it happen is very confusing.

Are you using the trial or a craked V4 as this won't work with the headphones.

If you have MK (which it says on profile) then just plug headphones in front and away you go.

Im using Virtual DJ Version 3.4.1. My console doesnt have a headphone input. Cant I just use it through the soundcard?

ok i take it you own the mp3 control you need a 5.1 soundcard to prelisten a usb one they can be purchased quite cheaply

Creative have a good and cheap 5.1 external sound card, from between £20-£25 I think, here in the UK.

I'm using a laptop and just recently bought a usb 5.1 external sound card to enable me to listen to the next track on my headphones and play the sound on my speakers. What to do I need to do to enable this. I have the DJ Control MP3 with VDJ Home edition. I tried modifying the vdj software to enable this feature but it says I have to have the Pro version. Is this correct?

I'm using a Trsut 5.1 usb sound card.

Can anyone help me on setting this up.

Thanx in advance

If you select the computer's own soundcard (Realtek somethingorother) as a second card, you can prefade through the computer's own headphone socket, usually on one side or somethines the front, depending on the adapter - use the USB as the main one and the computer as the 2nd one.
