Sujet: how about a get together

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

I know this may sound stupid but how about a get together of all VDJ users. I think it would be best if we had one held in each country (since there are VDJ users all over the world). We could make it sort of like a convention to show tricks and tips

Maybe a Virtual DJ Party at the next DJ Expo in Atlantic City
 
that a good idea, at least i would know who my fellow country man using these too.. not the cracked ones:)..
 
I was thinking the same thing for this year.
Trying hard to convince Rune to make it, I'm sure many would like to meet him.

sounds good but if u get rune in the usa we get him here in the uk too =D
 
I know there are alot of DJs around the world that use VDj but I would think most users are from the US is that right?

If I had my way, we would do a party that blew the roof of the other's while showcasing the software with the best dj's we've got.
Of the parties I have attended, it has been more of a spam fest with constantl obnoxious voice overs from mc's and ego driven dj's with poor music taste.

PO's party has always been the best imo. but we could easily top that.

Yeah, the last two years, I left early, and watched TV. Plus, if you have practiced that act for a year, you should be flawless. Unless they have a girl with three breast, I'm not impressed anymore. Plus, I'm getting old.

But I will show up if the three breasted girl is there, scratching with the third one.
 
I left early too Rick, the only one I stayed for was Studio 54 in Vegas, must have been the pedestal dancers...lol
The American DJ party sucked out loud.

The problem I see is it usually looks more like a gay party due to the lack of chicks and nobody dances, kind of piss poor imo.
A Thursday night party probably stands a better chance in that regard.

We could even do it on the boardwalk if we had sound available from locals dj's.
My system will be available if necessary.

DJ's need to bring the wives and girlfriends.
(I know some of you want to escape, but they would love the beach during the day)

You would think some enterprising pimp, would show up with a bus load of hot hookers, let them loose in the parties, and let the alcohol do the rest. Now, we just have a few drunk girls, that act worst then hookers. At least the hookers are getting paid.

Nah, have plenty of vacation time with the lady. Plus you never leave the lady alone, in a casino town.

i'm sure we could blow the roof off the brand x gatherings ...... i would like to help organize / smooth out logistics......
