i have a hercules mk2/virtual dj, but i cant seem to get any sound with it from my pc speakers, only external speakers or thru the headphones. any help appreciated, thanx

Desktop or a laptop?? If it is a desktop plug your speakers into the MK2. If it is a laptop, i dunno as I never used the home version.

If you want sound to come out of your laptop rather than your external speakers (you can only have one with Home Edition, unless you buy Y-Splitters) do the following:
Connect the cable which came with the Mk2 (it has red and white RCA connectors and a 3.5mm black one). The red and white RCA connections go into Output 1/2 of the Mk2. The 3.5mm jack plugs into the line-in of your laptop. Then open windows sound panel (double click on the speaker next to the clock) and untick line-in.

this feature is included in virtual dj pro aslo
it unlocks the two soundcard mode
