Hey all, I'm new to all this so please share with me your wisdom! I've just got some timcoded vinyls that I'm gonna try out with the VDJ demo, but need some advice on what soundcard to get? Using Technics 1210s Mk 3s, Numark DXM06 mixer, PC with Windows XP. Probably looking for a USB solution.. What can you recommend?

P.S. I don't want to break the bank buying the card, so need something that is good value for the money ;)

Cheers all.

You can't use that card, it has only one stereo input, you need two for TCV.

as you live in Europe, you can buy U46DJ at the same price as maya44usb on www.thomann.de

I read on another forum that they don't sell the U46DJ in Europe anymore, something to do with a certain type of Soldering agent being banned in Europe. Thomann sell the U46 SE which is almost the same thing but without phono preamps.

U46DJ is discontinued so I'd recommend you to buy the maya44 that is back again.

cheers spinnaJ, I had already seen the mixvibe link and was after a link that would list the 'improvements' of the U46DJ Mk II over the previous version. I can't find any info on this however...does anyone have any idea what the improvements are?
