Sujet Does VDJ support multiple simaltaneous MIdi controllers?

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

This post isnt really for my own requirement, but i've just had a private message asking if the following is possible.

Mk2 and NTC connected to VDJ, both set as Controllers (MK2 also used as soundcard)
Mk2 used to fade Video
NTC used to fade audio

I have both the Mk2 and NTC, but i use the Mk2 as a sound card only and it's gonna be a while before i can get a chance to try this out.

Any thoughts please?

Can they share uncommon midi codes :)

So, just to clarify, we must ensure that the mk2 has nothing mapped to anything that the NTC is also mapped to?

you can use the custom midi mapper on the tools page to help fix that :)

Just make sure it's not two fo the same Midi controller.

I tryed 2 dac2's once - and no go.
But I had a DAC2 & a DMC2 going in a multi-instance skin - 4 decks - I loved it.

worked very very well

MK2 midi commands: Wondering if -
Fader = transition
Right pitch nob = transition list
another button = select transition
another button = video affects

just as examples I don't know the commands yet until I look in the assignments.

Does the NTC have any commands assigned to video or just audio?

Thanks digimixer
