Also, just to explain the controllers - if they are MIDI then there is support. There is only 1 NEW Natively support controller in VDJ v5. That controller is the ION iCUE, which is a trimmed down version of the Numark TotalControl. MIDI was improved upon in VDJ v5, so those that were having issues before with some MIDI settings should improvement. If not, please report those issues in the PC Software or Hardware Troubleshooting threads.

question about Midi..

Does version 5 support more than the 1st parameter for Midi?

For instance in 4.3 you could use your midi device to control the speed that the video cube spins (1st parameter), BUT COULD NOT control the size, or direction (other parameters).

Hope this makes sense.

but it isn't really related to midi, but to actions that can be used as shortcuts, including midi.

use actions: video_fx_param(), video_fx_param_2(), ..., video_fx_param_5()

And it is mentioned in the Manual in the Shortcuts section.

Remember if you can create a Keyboard Shortcut -- you can assign it to a MIDI control as well in the MIDI config.

Hey guys. Really trying to get this manual together, but there's something going wrong with my laptop and Adobe. I don't suppose any kind soul in VDJ land could email it onto me as a word doc or something please?

try foxit reader it's free pdf reader and faster than adobe native reader

Help plez...My cdg files from zip files is not loading in VDJ5, the mp3 does but no video???? is there a cdg decoder....I've been searching the past hour and 1/2 in the forum...and have gone thru vdj5 manual but no luck....
