Hercules DJ Console for MAC seems to be the same OLD DJ CONSOLE MK1.
Unfortunately when i track to plug it on my mac, and launch DJ Console Control Panel, the message is "no dj console were found".
I try to reset the firmware but there's no "manual updater" for the MK1.
Does anyone of you have this type of configuration working ?

You think that the firmware upgrade will be the same that the mac os one ?

For info.
I've upgraded the drivers on my pc. (no Firmware upgrade after installation).
Disconnect from my pc, connect to my mac => no DJ Console were found !
No more results with the MK2 package.

From experience, after you have installed the Mac driver for the MK1; and go to the Dock by right clicking on the maya44 control panel and select the option (keep). You should be OK there.

The mac driver for the MK1 is "2_HDJM_2004.dmg". After the installation you have on the desk the Dj Console Control Panel icon.

IN VDJ (5 BETA 3) Hercules DJ Console is recognized as a sound card (Left Deck Channel 3&4 , Right Deck Channel 1&2) and works to my DJM-400.
However the Hercules DJ Console is not recognized as a controller, none of any control (jogs, sliders & buttons) has an effect on the soft. (HJC is activated in the REMOTE MENU)

Let me simplify It for you. DJ console control panel Is for MK2. The App you need should be from an independent external sound card like maya44.
You do not need the Mac firmware update driver for MK1, what you need is the simple Mac Tiger /Leopard hercules driver for your console.
Mk2 also has a sound card capability. MK1 is just a controller. You need an external sound card like maya44

Like the MK2 the first Hercules DJ Console (I call it the MK1 but it's perhaps not the right expression, mine is 4 years old!) is both a controller & an "independent external sound card".
This sound card feature perfectly works (that's what i said before).
I just try to have the controller feature operational. that's the point where i have my problem. I can use my macbook & press "s" to start "p" to stop" & arrows to nudge, but i'd rather use the console for that!!!

for the orginal mk1 console you need to have one with the mac chip for it to work ,
DJ CONSOLE MAC EDITION MK1
however the mk2 will work on a pc and mac

ORIGINAL DJ CONSOLE will not work and is not supported.
Use a DJ Console MAC edition or an DJ Console MK2 MAC edition.

how do i connect the mk2 when i am using external cd players with a mixer. what is happening is that whe i put a song on deck b and it is playing as soon as i put a song on deck a then the music stops because deck a is now highlited green whats am i doing wrong

i bought the mk2 on ebay(second hand) and when i tried to register it i was told i cant because it was registered already and this is a privilage for one owner

then for acess to the mac version you need to purchase pro :)
