could someone please explain or link to another post (cos i have looked and cant find the answer) how to connect vinyl decks to my laptop,
1) do they get connected to the line in?
2) do i connect the ground cable to my laptop chassis?
3) i have a 7.1 soundcard can i use a phono to 3.5mm jack converter to plug directly into my soundcard instead of using a maya external sound card?
4) anything else you may think is important that i have not asked.

you need to get a dual stero input card
such as the maya 44 usb ,
you connect the ground to any metal part of your laptop failing this try a radiator or any other source of metal
