Man, you do need to give us details, comp and soft config, also my personal advice to you is to update to the pro version.
pitch bend is best used to temporary adjust and sync the beat when you mix

I GOT A AMD ATHLON RUNNING XP 1.67 GHz AND 96 MB RAM AND HOW DO I GET THE PRO EDETION CAN I DOWNLOAD IT FROM HERE IF YES WHERE WOULD I FIND IT ON THE PAGE?????

If you indeed have 96 mb of ram that is well below the required specification for Virtual Dj requires at least at a bare minimum for home edition (only) 256mb. To see the recommended Spec for pro go here http://www.virtualdj.com/products/virtualdj/ .
