I know this has been posted before but I've not been able to sort this problem out! I want to be able to preview the next track in my headphones before it plays out my speakers so i can beat match it properly....im just using a normal desktop pc and i got this sound card that should apparantly work for what a want to do http://www.ebuyer.com/product/106540 I haven't got a mixer or any thing. I dont think im setting up the sound settings properly. Any help would be great thanks!

That would be ok for just previewing its not great quality , have you considered the DJ.io or a more high spec card.
You would need to set:
Inputs : none
Outputs : headphones
Card : 4.1
Driver : your card

I haven't really considered any thing else really as im only just starting out...I didn't think it'd be worth splashing out too much at first incase i dont carry on! All i want is to preview at the mo to get a bit of practice....i'll give what you said a try! thank you very much!
