Sujet Largest Video file support

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

Hey all, I just finished ripping one of my seasons for Family Guy, and when I tried to load one of the VOB files (Episodes) into VV, it only kicks back 30 sec of the introductions. I was hoping
to have the whole episode available to play so I could grab sound bytes and such from it, and Loop motion, etc. I am grabbing it off my external WD hard Drive. My question
is what is the largest supported files size/length allowable?

Oh, and Hope to see a Video Clip bank available in 5.1, or at least the Video Effects with sound , or something allong those lines.

Cheers

Nic

2. What did you rip with?
3. Clip Bank is available on Video FX in 5.07
4. Video FX and Sound FX are available in the download center

1. 1.03 Gig
2. I used Mac The Ripper to Rip the file
3. I meant a Video Clip bank with Audio so you could here sound with it
4.

I guess loading the whole Gig into the track isnt that important, cause I was just going to chop it up anyways, but would be easy if I could load the whole Gig (Episode) and set cue points to the spots
I would want

Hopefully Version 5.1 Will fix this

(Macbook Pro 2.0, 2 gig Ram, WD 500 GB Ext. MyBook)

After Restarting Everything, The Full Video shows up in the track view, but when I try to Jump through the Video The Audio doesnt keep up. Probably cause I am playing off the External hard Drive. Will upgrading to a 7200 RPM from a 5400 hopefully fix this problem?

thanx
