im totally new at this whole dj-ing thing but i really like and getting into it
i have a macbook pro and i was wanting to buy a hercules dj console mixer mk2
but i see that there's a pc version and a mac version
and i was wondering what's the difference? other then the software it comes bundled with
i just want the mixer i can careless for the software
so could i use a pc version mixer on my mac without bootcamp
im running virtual dj 5.0 mac beta

Dont do it , get an rmx instead if you want a hercules unit it includes mac and pc software.
Using an unofficial version of the beta will cause all sorts of trouble for your mac including spyware and allowing hackers acess , i would advise you remove it

oh yeah i dont have much money for the RMX but will the pc version of hercules dj console mixer mk2 work on my mac
like i said i don't care much for the software i just want the mixer will it work?

The mk2 pc version will werk.
But in order to use the mk2 great, u must have the legit pro version too as unofficial copies will get u to more problems later.

I bought the MK2 which is Mac compatible (NOT THE MAC VERSION). The software is Virtual DJ 4.3 Home.
It works great, but you cant record your works! And I'm still looking for a good solution because I paid 250$ and cant record my songs!!

U have ur answer in ur own thread.
Morever the version that came with the mk2 is V3x, there no such thing as VDJ 4.3 Home.
Also if u wish to have the Pro version (Both Mac n PC) , u could purchase it with a discount;)
