Sujet Using VirtualDJ and Hercules MKII on a Mac...

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

Hi.

OK, this is probably answered somewhere else on the forum, but to save me time, I thought I'd drop a post asking you guys.

1. I use Bose Companion 5 speakers with my Mac, and have a Hercules DJ Console MK II. Is it possible to out the music to the Bose speakers and use the console for PFL listening, or do I need to buy something like the Numark DJ i/o? And, if I do need a DJ i/o, why? The Hercules has a soundcard onboard, yes?

Using: MacBook 2GHz, 2GB RAM.

I hope this makes sense, and sorry if it doesn't....

**UPDATE**

OK, fixed that, but now have ANOTHER problem...

The console works fine (all faders/buttons/switches working but no lights), outputs to my Bose speakers no problem when selecting a 4.1 sound card and Bose USB audio as the driver, but from the console itself no sound AT ALL through the headphones....the console switches between the two decks for monitoring, but no sound through the cans (Sennheiser HD25s, no less.... :-))

Please help, I feel like banging my head against a wall.

Please ensure you have the latest driver on the mac which should improve performance.
Hercules are aware of Led problems and are trying to resolve it.
