I finally figured out what makes the static screeching sound! I just need to know how to fix it.
I have the djio. total control, and the full version of cue. All three are updated to the latest version. my pc consists of win xp pro, 2.8 gigahertz, 1gig in ram.
I have hardware acceleration to none, auto latency, fastest settings, and gave priority to the system backround thing.
The screeching static sound only occurs when I change the bass, trebble, and mids on the controller. If i turn any other nobs such as the effects, samples and stuff it all works perfect, but if i mess around with the 3 nobs bass mids and trebles, after 1 or 2 songs the annoying static sound will come on and go away after i close the Cue and start it up again.

Please register your purchases http://www.virtualdj.com/fusers/modifuser.html
then you can be sure that you have the latest updates and get the pro benifits.
Please ensure that , you have the latest djio driver http://www.numark.com/content5113.html
Then on the Numark DJ.io driver software try increasing the latency value.
