I am looking to purchase virtual dj and if necesary an m-audio audiophile external interface and/or a hercules controller.
I am going to be using my toshiba laptop running xp, to dj at some local yoga studio's that have their own speakers/systems. I am kinda new to this stuff but the guy who is currently djing just has his laptop and his hercules controller and he can hook right into the system.
I want to be able to cue and use all the functionalities of virtual dj and am trying to do it the cheapest way possible without compromising sound quality.
This particular m-audio interface has 2 rca in and outs and headphone jack.
Would this be beneficial in a dj set up?
Or would something like a hercules controller work better or use them both together?
Is sound quality effected by how good your sound card is? and which option would be better quality?
