Sujet whine w/tcv

I have the maya 44 with 2.5.0 driver. I hear the whine/whistle thru the headphones with the needle off the vinyl and I also hear it live without headphones when the needle is playing on the vinyl. Is this normal? I'm not sure how loud the whine would be if I hooked the mixer up to the amp (lazy). I did the ASIO config and muted the input boxes like our instructions however, when I do this it also stops playing my song too. Is this all ok? Otherwise it works real sweet. BTW I didn't install anything but the driver (ie: control panel).

You need to mute the monitor in 1 & 2 and monitor in 3 & 4. I am assuming you are hearing the actual timecode.

If I do, then I have no input to the mixer at all. Which means no output to the speakers. ??
