Anyone know of any other asio drivers I can try with the MEP and VDJ
Downloaded ASIO4ALL but it say there aren't enough channels!

I've plugged in my pioneer 350 set into my computer on control mode and it perfectly syncs up with vdj. Allthough when I set my output through the mixer only channel one on the mixer has output which means I have no control on the different channels on my mixer and if I want to make something as simple a a transition I need to to do it on the computer screen in vdj. This really bugs, me to be almost there but still not.
So my question is; how do I set the output so that I can use the pioneer mixer to control the volumes on both channels and eventually crossfade?
Thanks in advance

Hi Leogynge,
What are using as the sound device? The 350's?
If you are trying to use the 350s as your sound device, make sure you have installed the driver that comes with your rekordbox. (which I assume you have since you have control)
I'm on XP, but it should be similar on most OS.
Under the sound setup tab all I have done is set mine up like this.
Inputs + None
Outputs = External mixer (2 channel)
Sound cards = 2 cards (This is the one just under mono seperate. The picture of a laptop and USB sound device)
Next to that you will see two drop downs. In these select your two CDJ350s. You might need to flip these two selections around if they're not the right way around first go.
There may be a better way to do this, but I'm not aware of it. This way seemed to work for me.
Hope this helps.

This is possibly a problem on Pioneers side.
I have the same issue and I have hit Pioneer up about this issue. Still waiting for a response.
There doesn't seem to be any firmware upgrades for this deck just yet either.
It's a shame the deck has this issue. Good deck for the money.
I'll post if I hear any news.

No.
The CDJ350, 900 and 2000 are fine.

This way you don't really make use of the (low latency) asio driver.
Just select Asio instead and choose Pioneer cdj Asio

Apopsis, you are 100% correct (my mistake)
Both ways will get you going, but I have to agree with apopsis and recommend using the Pioneer ASIO drivers as well.
Thanks Apopsis.

Hi,
The company I work for are wanting to purchase the Pioneer MEP-7000.
Can someone please confirm that this unit will work with VDJ7, giving me full control.
If I should decide to jump from VDJ to CD will it also allow me to do this?
Thanks in advance,
Phil

Pioneer are aware of this and are currently working on a fix.
I have two 850s with the same issue. I'll post as soon as I hear of the firmware release to fix the problem.

Hi Mor,
The CDJ850 issue you are having has been noted, Pioneer are working on a fix. (please see my previous post)
Hang in there. I'm sure they will have it sorted shortly.

You can do this yourself by assigning a button of your choice to toggle between the decks - Please see http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/VDJScript%20Examples.html

using 2 cdj 2000's with vdj and the numark virtual vinyl soundcard, acer laptop 2gh duo with 4 g of ram. i play only video's which are stored on an external 1t hard drive connected with a e-sata cable. the video files are manly promo only ripped to vob. i've never had any problems until i started using the cdj's. during my gigs now about 3 or 4 times each nite the vieo's skip while playing and also some video's won't load, instead of being 3.30 minutes it comes up as 1 second which is the new length of the track in the browser !! if i right click on the track to re check the bpm it crashes. help !!!

CDJ 2000\'s on USB to MAC Book Pro I7 8G ram only have VDJ7.01 installed.
Using CDJs as sound cards
Midi Audi Rack setup on mac 44khz at 16bit.
I\'ve been building towards getting all these and finally got mac book a few weeks ago.
I have all my MP3s and MP4 videos on macbook hard drive.
Tracks are loaded in to each CDJ player via usb from VDJ and one track is playing to customers other cued up.
Now if I search in VDJ search box, when I press the 1st 2nd or 3rd letters of the artist i\'m searching for on keyboard, the audio from CDJ2000 thats playing stutters as though because Im searching the database the streaming on the USB cable to the CDJ is interrupted for few milli seconds.
I have not yet played with config settings yet as I was playing live last night and didnt notice this glitch on a practice play when the kit arrived, but will get all gear out later and repeat setup and tinker, but if anyone knows a cure please post
kind regards
Danny
