anyone who's trolled this board probably knows that I have been really tinkering with the Mac version of VDJ for the past week, and I think I have things really moving in the right direction now...with one exception.
The other day, I purchased a new external hard drive with Firewire 800 connections, so that I could make use of the 800 connection on my Macbook Pro. I then copied all of my external music from the USB 2.0 drive to the Firewire drive. I dumped the old VDJ database (made a backup first) and then rescanned the new hard drive as my database.
However, the new scan only pulled the artist and track information from the MP3's on the firewire drive. I understand that it wouldn't know the BPM or play count info, since that was stored in the old database, but I can't figure out why it wouldn't have pulled in the album info as well.
