Im trying to translate the original VDJ6 language.xml from English to portuguese. Just by picking the original english.xml file and editing it at notepad, keeping all commands but changing the description, as the example:
<Explorer>Erro no Windows Explorer</Explorer>
I've done all the job, changing all descriptions, and saving the new file at languages folder. But the soft dont recongnizes the file when I change to the new one option at skins tab. It keeps the original in English.
Im sure dont changed anything but the "internal" descriptions. And changed the file name from English.xml to Portugues.xml.
Can anybody help me to find what did I wrong?

Hi everybody...
After some brain burning, I got it.
Found a nice xml editor that helped me to find the errors at xml file.
But still have doubts.
The file dont supports special caracters as ã, é, à, í, õ, easy to find in portuguese words.
As you know, I used english.xml file and made changes on it. And english dont got special caracters.
But I saw spanish language got some special caracters, too, and works fine.
I think theres something I can change at xml to support special caracters, but I dont know what.
Does anybody knows it?

Solved, just select and copy the content of English based xml file and replace the content of the spanish.xml file, saving whit another name.

I guess you didn't save it in UTF-8 (Unicode) in your first try.
