How do you setup an external mixer in VDJ6..
What am i doing wrong???? I've never had a problem before?
I have front & rear output on my sound card (deck 1 & deck 2)
I want to be able to use my external mixer for the cross fader. Not Vdj cross fader.
So if i've got a track placking on deck 1. No track playing on deck 2, if i fade to deck 2 on my external mixer i still get sound??
I still have to use vdj cross fader for it to work, (there should be no sound)...
On Vdj i've disabled the crossfader, set it as smooth etc etc... Please help...

I know this may sound bad...But in the sound setup do you have external mixer selected? and what sound card are you using?

Did you look at the Setup Quick Guide that was installed in your My Documents/VirtualDJ folder? It walks you through the settings for your sound card.

I've gone through the set up.
VirtualDJ internal crossfader is disabled.
Just worked it out..
My sound card has an environment setting, hall, living room, club.. etc etc...
If this setting is on vdj will play sound through both channels. even if deck 1 is only playing..
